 Usage Instructions:

1) Your project-Knit, Crochet or Lace in normal fashion.

2) Place the finished work in lukewarm water for 20-30 minutes. Remove excess water by pressing the fabric lightly.

3) Spread the work on the Blocking mat / board.

4) Use Knit Blocking Combs for all straight edges and T-pins for curved edges.

5) For straight edges or points, it is recommended to place Combs approx.2"to 3" apart(the large 8-pin Combs are about 3"long)-depending on the knit density.

6) For curved edges or points, either:

·use T-Pins-approx.1"apart along the edge 1/points OR

·connect a string(about 1.5 to 2 times the total length of the edge to be blocked)securely into one of the holes in a small Comb. Locate the Comb at the end of one edge. Thread the string into a tapestry needle and weave it through the edges of the fabric and / or the points until the other end of the edge is reached. Attach the end to another Comb and insert into the Blocking Mat. Now use T-Pins or Combs to stretch the string evenly along the edge.
